TO my dear choir members:

you know what guys? i seem to be losing passion and is getting disillusioned. you know what? no matter how hard we are trying to do the songs in a practice, the next one we will be back to square one. i always loved to go choir when i was in sec1 as it was effective and efficient. we all did our parts by going home and revising the scores again. but you know waht? i cant see it now. we are dwelling and dwelling on the same thing in all practices that even jiamin and zhihui give up by not clearing up the parts. coz they are i can see, disillusioned. haiz. and i am frustrated every parctice when i hear your noises!

yes i understand. you guys are tired having to be cooped in the dumb music room from 9am to 5pm, equilevant to working in the office. you guys talk to relax. i understand. i know it's hard on you guys. BUT cant you all be less restless so that we wont be doing the sma thing over and over again. i plead you. if you just use your hand to write down on the scores what to take note, which is as easy as ABC, we won't ever even need to go back again and again.

you know, eunice is tired. damn tired. don't believe you can go her blog. she is trying very hard to maintain discipline in choir. cant you guys show a tweeny little bit of basic respect for her by not talking in her presence? she is having a tough job. so much that she is even tired of scolding you guys. can't you see? and when she say you guys are noisy, you guys laughed. that is not really polite you know my dearies?

please, i plead you guys. if you ever see this entry of mine or the entry of eunice, spread it. tell others to exert more self control in choir. don't be too noisy. if not we will be just shaming ourselves in front of the international community in Prague and shaming ourselves next year in front of all the secondary choirs in Singapore in SYF next year.

get that mental stamina and physical stamina back again man! you know you guys sounded terrific before the EOY? even ms tham felt so too! so it shows that we can do it man! don't think that by giving up, it will be better for us. instead, if one person knows that others are giving up and work doubly hard to bring up that standard again and influence the others, we will be back to that standard again! don't move forward by two steps and then move backwards by three steps. i beg you guys, sincerely begging, please do your best in choir. make that standard come back. be mentally prepared and physically prepared. we don't like to scold you guys and never did we ever scold you guys so fiercely (or maybe we did) right? SO just put in your best! i know you guys can do it! jiayou! let's make that standard come back again! revise your scores at home and exert self control in choir (by not talking). just by doing these tiny actions, you are doing the choir a GREAT HELP. you are IMPROVING THE STANDARD!

and do be sensitive. when you see another section trying very hard to do their part, do not interrupt by competing their singing with your talking. and listen to your SLs and note down everything important. sit up straight and listen. i really hope to see a change in the next prac. help the choir by helping yourself to be a better chorister. only then, we can move forward together as a true RV CHORALE!

btw, this is ms tham message to us:

So sorry I couldn't be there, really miss the choir after 2 weeks of not seeing you guys.
I think the choir should start every practice day with PT (first thing in the morning), then stretches and vocal exercises (including the "Vader" exercise!). You sounded good pre-exams because we had done a lot of stretching and physical activity ... and also I think you were all more fit and mentally alert!
The urgent thing now is to get fit again, and build vocal and mental stamina - especially for those touring.
After warm-ups on Tuesday, please revise Karimatanu and Laudate (because I definitely want to hear these!) - but briefly; then maybe split into sectionals for Bare Necessities. I will help with this in the afternoon. And I will also start on the new scores, and revise Xiao Huang Li Niao."

RV CHORALE

a CCA that i love. choir is my life!! i can't live without it. i place it my top priority in my rv school life. it's a family that care and share.
STRENGTH IN DISCIPLINE, PRIDE IN SINGING is our motto!
SO PROUD of it.
in there, i met wonderful seniors, corny peers, duapai and sot sot juniors. there seems to always be a barney in every batch of singers. spending time with choir peeps is the most fun thing ever. especially taking bus 57 home with quek, zinc and cherie.
in there, i met the CHAO TAS, the BEACHES, the HIMBOS, the OH family and the LIBRARIAN GAYS. i'm a proud member of the GC(Gosippers Club) set up by qiyuan, yanpeng, zhihui and i. singing three bears with qiyuan and zhihui is fun.
fighting together against NAZISM is none other than my other VP, eunice yeap!

WELFARE

a group of lovable and cute TORTOISES. it's a fun SC comm. 22 people working towards a common goal. raising flag is our expertise. without us, how can you sing national anthem? HUR? i love raising national flag because raising school flag needs right experiment techniques: eliminating PARALLAX ERROR. because it's SILLY to have parallax error ar!!

the class most memorable for me. we are all freako and freaks! in here, you will find corniness, horniness and total blurness. i belong to the corniness and horniness category! we love chalet-ing together. TRUE SPIRIT AND ENTHU-NESS!

the heaven in the hell. we are 3/4 angel and 1/4 devil. i see angels fluttering here and there every morning. we are the devils and the saints! and NO, WE ARE NOT NERDS! just that we are more hardworking! i hated it at first but NOT ANYMORE!!
